In this generation, it's getting a little hard to grasp the true essence of reading and writing. Is scanning through Facebook considered reading? Reading tweets and threads on twitter? Posting your daily galas and barkada trips? I believe that there is a criteria in writing different literary forms but we should never feel restricted with what we want to express especially with posting on social media. Yes, we have the right on freedom of speech but with that comes the responsibility and the consequences of expressing yourself publicly. Whenever I see people rant on social media, it really takes a moment for me to let it sink in that these people were on the verge of their emotions that's why they go and take it out on social media where the public can see.
